Tools for Digital Doodling & Sketching

Some of my favorite tools for digital doodling are :

1—Freeform: This free app comes with the iPad. It’s a good basic app. I will definitely do more tutorials on it. I wish they added some more tools to it, but they improve the app with every iOS update.

2—Procreate: You can certainly do sketches and doodles in Procreate. My mixed media brushes actually come as a bonus with two sketchbooks. The great thing is that Procreate has tons of brushes and stamps for you to have fun with sketching and doodling.

3—Paper: This is one of my favorite apps for creating easy, fun sketches. I love that it has books and that you can choose from a wide variety of paper styles.

4—Flow: I also love this sketch app. The great thing is that the pages come together and are almost infinite in style. Flow is also easy to create mindmaps and brainstorming sketches. I really like all the different pens this app has.

5- Sketches: Sketch is also a great one if you really want to practice sketching but don’t want to get overhelmed with all procreate brushes.
